Action Verbs on Your Resume
Action Verbs on Your ResumeAction verbs are a great choice for action verbs on your resume. There are several different ways to place them, but for the most part, they should appear in chronological order of placement on your resume. Here are some tips to help you get started:* Action verbs on the top usually include action verbs such as 'Learned'Did', which is good because it will read like it was someone's time to learn and not someone's time to do nothing at all. And they are often placed in boldface. They are a great choice for putting on the top of the resume.* Action verbs on the right usually include action verbs such as 'Applied'Was Applied for'. They will be bolded for effect and will usually appear in a smaller font size than the action verbs on the left. And you can find them in a bold font or in a smaller font size than other action verbs.* Action verbs on the bottom usually include action verbs such as 'Gave'Was Gave for'. Again, this is a very simple way to use them and can be placed on either side of the action verbs you chose on the top or right or bottom.* Action verbs on the left usually include action verbs such as 'Was'Was Active'. Again, they will be bolded and usually in smaller font size than the action verbs on the right, and they will come before the action verbs on the bottom.* Action verbs on the right usually include action verbs such as 'Learned'Was Learned'. Again, they will be bolded and come after the action verbs on the bottom and before the action verbs on the left. You can use a combination of the two. The best way to go about this is to take the two verbs you like and use them separately. Then put the action verbs on the left or right as you see fit.Action verbs on your resume are a great choice for building your resume. They are the key to your success in the job search. They can be used throughout your resume, but are most effective when used with the action verbs on the top and right.
